Cisco CRS Editor (also known as the Cisco Unified CCX Script Editor) is Cisco Systems’ visual development tool for creating, testing, and maintaining interactive voice response (IVR) and contact routing logic for Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX) and Cisco Unified IP IVR. Using a drag‑and‑drop flow editor, it lets engineers build menu trees, capture DTMF input, queue and route calls based on skills or business rules, and integrate with enterprise data via HTTP requests and database queries. Built‑in reactive debugging enables step‑through troubleshooting on live or lab calls with breakpoints, variable inspection, and execution tracing. Scripts, prompts, grammars, and related assets can be uploaded to and managed in the UCCX repository, supporting consistent deployment and reuse across applications. Designers can modularize logic with subflows and, when licensed, leverage features such as ASR/TTS and database access to deliver robust self‑service experiences.
